Seela came to us in utero. Her dam, Shama, was no longer able to keep up with the mare herd due to an old injury so she joined my herd of 2. Seela was my first foaling experience, and one I will long remember as she tried to arrive upside down. She has also been the definition of "slow to mature". As with all of my horses, she was introduced to lunging, ground poles, ground driving and all the "big girl" hardware. At 4, we bred her, which gave her another year to mature, giving us Sennia. She was out of my care for awhile - she returned in foal with Callahan, her second fabulous baby. After weaning she began her career as a riding horse. The timing proved perfect as she was ready to continue her training. Seela feels solid in the basics and will continue her training here until her person comes along.
